Product details of Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 2GB RAM

Xiaomi has launched the successor to the Redmi Note. One of the key highlights in the Redmi Note 2 is the full-HD display, with the phone also offering MediaTek's new MT6795 Helio X10 SoC with eight Cortex A53 cores clocked at 2.0GHz, PowerVR G6200 GPU, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory, 13MP camera, 5MP front shooter, Wi-Fi ac, dual-SIM 4G connectivity and a 3,020mAh battery. The handset is the first to run Xiaomi's latest MIUI 7 atop Android 5.1 Lollipop.

The 13MP camera at the back (both Samsung and OmniVision were mentioned as suppliers) comes with phase-detection autofocus and a focus speed of just 0.1 seconds. The phone measures 152mm x 76mm x 8.25mm, with an overall weight of 160g, a reduction of 39g from its predecessor. The phone will be available in several color combinations, including white, black, pink, brown, and light blue.
