The digital LCD overcomes the shortcoming of analog LCD, image display needs to be converted only once through Digital-to-Analog and locks the content of pixels to display in the corresponding position, the resolution of digital LCD is very high. Then, take 7-inch digital photo frame as an example, the resolution of digital LCD is 800 x 600, and analog LCD's only 480 x 234, thus, the resolution of digital LCD is 3 times more than Analog. Comparatively, digital LCD is better than analog's, and the price is expensive.

How to Choose Digital Photo Picture Frame?

1. Various sizes
First, it is necessary to understand the detailed size of digital photo frames which are available in the market. Digital photo frame sizes range from the smallest 1.1" to more than 20", but the seven-inch and eight-inch frame sizes are the most popular. 2. High resolution

When the ratio up to 300:1, they can support all levels of color, richer color performance, the more beautiful pictures. A low contrast ratio creates a muddy picture, while a high ratio creates a clean, vibrant image, so you must check the contrast ratio of the digital photo frames before you buy.
4. Proper brightness
The brightness is one of the key factors. Most of digital photo frames utilize TFT LCD with the resolution of 800 x 480 and brightness of 200cd/m² which will get more vivid, full color. If image was too dark or too light and cannot adjust automatically, very poor frame effects will result.
5. Digital storage cards
Most of the digital photo frames have the built-in digital storage cards to store images, it supports removable digital storage devices, such as Secure Digital (SD) cards or Compact Flash (CF) memory sticks and other digital storage cards, but you must be e sure the digital photo frame you choose supports the same kind of memory card that's in your digital camera.
6. Power supply selection
Digital photo frames are powered either by batteries or the power socket. If you want to buy a battery-operated digital photo frame, you must be sure it is a rechargeable batteries. If it is a digital photo frame that plugs into a wall outlet, you may have to think the cord length.
