In order to match the bra balls properly, please make sure that the patterns are aligned in order to match the right 'catch". Especially for the smaller shell, the long arc pattern of one side should match the long arc pattern of the other side where the catch is.
Some edges will appear 'sharp'. These edges will assist fixing of both halves together and will be hidden when the balls are formed. If buyer feels uncomfortable, edges can be trimmed using normal scissors.
