Important notes on egg poachers and the egg timer

  1. Before using the products for the first time:
    - Wash the egg poachers thoroughly with soapy water or in a dishwasher.
    - Boil the egg timer once without eggs and dispose of the water
  2. Poach eggs in the microwave oven ONLY IF you have already had success microwaving eggs using similar utensils. Otherwise there is a scientifically explainable risk of eggs bursting
  3. Do not expose the hot timer to cold water. Remove it with a slotted spoon and allow to cool at room temperature
