In humidity-sensor mode, the unit''s motor automatically adjusts fan speed based on humidity levels--you never have to manually turn the fan on before a shower or remember to turn it off after one. The fan''s default settings include a 60 percent humidity threshold. The fan will start when the humidity level reaches 60 percent. It will remain on as long as the humidity remains above the threshold, and it will turn off automatically after the humidity level comes back down to less than 60 percent.
