Pearl powder has been used in China in ancient times. It is used as a Spirit tonic to stabilize the emotions， allay fright， ease frustration and anger， brighten the eyes and help regenerate tissue.

Pearl is also used as a major beauty tonic because it is a rich source of amino acids， mucopolysaccharides， B-vitamins and a wide range of minerals including calcium， magnesium， zinc， iron， strontium， copper， selenium， silicon and titanium.
