I hated that I had to take it off all the time when I had to charge the batteries. We have the battery pack for the leap pad 2...use the gel skin all the time. Amazed that this one as much as it gets dropped doesn't have all the dings! It cost quite a bit more but I thought it would be worth it because it matched the Sophia game that I bought for my granddaughter. When I received the cover it was pink. I was very disappointed because I specifically requested a purple cover. When I sent an e-mail to Leap Frog to let them know that I received the wrong color they ordered me a purple cover and I had it within a few days. I was very impressed. The cover is well made and I think it will protect the game. However, the game that I bought the cover for has rechargeable batteries and it is a pain to remove the cover each time you have to charge the batteries. I am hoping that the cover doesn't stretch out from taking it on and off so much.
