We got the 7-8 size. It's a little long in the legs but perfect around the waist, and my son has a pretty stout torso and waist. But I knew this, and knew I'd need to order a size bigger than he actually is. I'm giving 5 stars because for the price, the helmet is solid and looks pretty cool, the outfit part has the cheapy Velcro closures at the top but the padded muscles and add ons to the costume are pretty neat. He's already worn it and it's two months before Halloween. I'd say it's a winner. But I would say that if your child is stout, or well built, or a little chunky monkey, get a size up so the elastic in the waist doesn't cut into them.
