My first impression was mixed. I really loved the clean, fresh scent of the product, and it felt nice going on. I did feel that the product worked very well to eliminate underarm moisture. However, I am not someone who is overly concerned about sweat and odor--regular strength deodorants work just fine for me. I am concerned that the clinical strength might be more than I need, and that I don't want to be applying a higher quantity of aluminum zerconium tetrachlorohydrex to my skin every day. In fact, I'm interested in finding a more natural product to replace my regular deodorant, so this product is simply going in the wrong direction for me. I would recommend this product to people who have over-productive sweat glands, but I don't think it is necessary for the average individual. I had tried a clinical protection deodorant many years ago when they 1st became popular and it didn't work out well for me. The Dove Clinical Protection Antiperspirant Deodorant worked like I couldn't believe. I put it on after my shower last night and when I got up I instinctively went to grab for it again to start my day. But I remembered the directions to apply once at night. So I said why not let's do a by the book product testing. That was at 11pm last night and it's currently 11:21pm and I still feel fresh! I've been sweating cleaning the house,running errands and taking my garden down....my armpits are STILL DRY! The deodorant is clear on my skin. I haven't had an oh my do I smell moment all day. Gave me amazing confidence today. I will be purchasing Dove Clinical Protection next time I need deodorant. I got the product free from Unilever via CrowdTap for my honest review. The directions state to apply two clicks of the product to each underarm before bed. I don't love applying antiperspirant due to the Aluminum Zirconium Tetrachlorohydrex GLY in this product, so I especially don't love leaving it on overnight when I feel like my skin should rest without a bunch of products on it, especially products that contain chemicals. I also don't really like that the applicator is mostly plastic with the product being dispensed from small holes in the center. It doesn't feel very pleasant to rub the plastic on my underarm. I have applied the product during the day though and I felt like it preforme
