【TSAロックについて】
現在アメリカでは航空手荷物のX線検査で不審物が認められた場合、 TSA（米国運輸保安局）職員が荷物を開けて検査を行っています。
そのため手荷物は鍵を掛けずに預けなければならず、もし施錠していた場合は錠を破壊して検査が行われ、その修理代は請求できないという状況です。
TSAロックの付いたスーツケースは、米国運輸保安局が認定した特別なシステムで、TSA職員が持つ特殊工具で開錠・検査ができるため、施錠したまま預けることが可能です。
TSA職員と本人しか開錠・施錠はできません。
カギには必ずこのマークが付いていますが、この鍵穴を開けるカギは付属いたしません。
