The Trekker Compact Mat in Olive and Coyote is based on our popular Trekker Mat. With its 48'' length the Compact Mat still allows the user to have padding under the head and torso of most users. Also by shortening the mat we were able to achieve a lower weight and pack size diameter. Self-Inflating Mats provide extra comfort sleeping on top of rocks and hard surfaces but also helps to add a barrier between you and the cold ground beneath.
