The illustrations on the box and on all the pieces are colorful, whimsical, and a whole lot fun to look at. In this game, children will practice their math skills in recognizing a number of different geometric shapes found in common foods and treats. Game play is easy to catch on to. Kids will practice patience by taking turns, develop their fine motor skills, and sharpen their critical thinking and decision making abilities. This game is for children ages four and up. I believe it's best suited for children preschool through kindergarten. That being said, my kids ages 7 and 4 had fun with this game. They liked using the Frankie cat squeezer to pick up foods on their turns. The re-playability for this game is moderate for us. It's best as a teaching tool to supplement what they are learning in their schooling. Game play time varies from 15-30 minutes depending on the number of people playing. Up to four people can play at once. Set up and clean up is fast. The instructions were pretty basic and there were a few things that weren't very clear. For example when a player lands on a shape to pick up that they already have, we aren't told if they should skip their turn or spin again. We substituted and just stuck to our own rule on this particular thing. Other than that, the game is still fun and works out pretty well.Written by a customer while visiting educationalinsights.comWas this review helpful?Yes (0)No (0)ReportA fun, cute way to learn shapes!10/18/2015Average rating:5out of5stars, based onreviews10/18/2015by MikeyMy 5.5 year old daughter and 3.5 year old son immediately took interest in this game. There was instant familiarity in the design of this game to the Sneaky Snacky Squirrel game we've played countless times, but what really got them excited were the game piece options - yummy treats! The game pieces are nicely designed and is easy to play and follow. Finding and matching the shapes with the food options is a good way to learn/reinforce their knowledge of shapes. My daughter particularly couldn't wait for her turn to get the food item she was eyeing. You can work on multiple concepts with this toy. Counting, shapes, type of food and so on. I love the board game concepts this company produces.Written by a customer while visiting educationalinsights.comWas this review helpful?Yes (0)No (0)ReportGreat prek game for family game night6/16/2015Average rating:4out of5stars, based onreviews6/16/2015by Jen @ Happy Little HomemakerFrankies Food Truck Fiasco is a great game for young children. I love that the game is put together from the beginning and I don't have to put the holders on all the pieces. I also like how the box is part of the game so it doesn't get left on the floor, sat in, used as a slide, etc. Oh. Maybe that's just MY kids :). The pieces are super sturdy cardboard and while they would not stand up to a drooling baby, they withstood the two
