More about Pony Hair Brushes 

Pony hair cosmetic brushes are made from pony hair that is usually cylindrical in shape unlikethe conical shape of the hair of squirrel. This means that pony hair has little or no "belly" and has less "pointy" tips compared to squirrel hair. Pony hair makeup brush is less expensive than squirrels but more expensive than goat hair to make. It is often mixed with squirrel hair to reduce cost of manufacturing pure squirrel makeup brushes. 

Note: 

Natural hair makeup brushes that are made of pony, squirrel or goat hair are best used to apply powder products such as eye shadow, blush or highlight. Because of its naturally present cuticles lined along the hair, natural hair makeup brushes are able to pick up more powder and distribute them more evenly as you apply them on your skin. This is a function that makes natural hair makeup brushes popular among the professional makeup artists, a property that cannot be mimicked by synthetic hair makeup brushes. 

It is not advised to use natural hair makeup brushes with cream/liquid products as the cuticles will hold on to the products residue and it's very hard to wash off.

About my brushes 

I get many buyers asking me about the authenticity of the brushes, which I often have to explain in length, so thought I should just spell it out in details once and or all: 

 

I work for this company by the name of Pony Brush which sells their own brand of makeup brushes in Singapore. I was in charge of procurement and was liaising with the manufacturer that Pony Brush has commissioned to manufacture their brushes through ODM. In the process, I got to know that the manufacturer also takes orders from Hourglass, Live Beautifully and sometimes Sephora. They don't make the full range, but particular models from each brand. For every order they take, there will be "overstock" in the number of thousands. They are not allowed to trade commercially, so I purchase from them in small bulk. Upon buying a few samples myself, I was convinced they are of the same quality as the ones that actually made it to big brands' warehouse. 

 

Verdict

 I do not claim to sell branded brushes, I am not authorized to do so and am very aware of trademark law infringement. As a person who works in the industry, I am saying that the quality of the brushes sold here are comparable to the branded ones because they are manufactured by the same manufacturer (batchmates, lol). As a result, they are at 30-40% mark down at the very least. 

The prices of our brushes are justified by their quality, premium materials used, regardless of brands.

RETURN POLICIES

The Buyer must contact us within 48 hours of receipt and must follow our return policies and procedures for all returns.

The returned merchandise must arrive in new, unused and re-saleable condition, including ALL original packaging and Packing Slip(s). The QR-Code label(s) MUST be stuck on.

The Buyer is responsible for the shipping cost to return the product.

All returns must have a tracking number.

After we have received your returned item, we will check it and process the refund to your original payment method. Any shipping costs will not be refunded. Please allow 5-10 business days for us to process your returns case.

Due to health & hygiene reasons, we do not accept returns/exchange on any opened or used products.

Please note that we do not accept returns or refunds for any products we list as Non-Refundable. Please check and place these orders carefully.

Orders returned after 48 hours, or without our acknowledgement will NOT be handled.

Policies regarding Broken or Defective Items

When you receive your order, please inspect your items carefully. If you receive any broken/defective item(s), please contact the delivery company and contact us immediately (within 48 hours of receipt).

Do not discard the box, shipping label, packing slip or the broken/defective item(s). Take photos of these and send them to us with your order number within 48 hours of receipt. Our Customer Service Team will get back to you as soon as possible.

Your Order

Orders will be shipped with handling time of 1-2 business days (Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays excluded) after payment has been cleared. Please ensure your shipping address is correct.

All items will be checked, handled with care, wrapped with protective materials and well-packed in boxes before sending out.

Delivery Time

Delivery from Singapore to Malaysia/Hong Kong/Other Asian countries will take  5-8 business days by registered airmail. Please be aware that the above are for reference only and there may be delays due to peak season, custom clearance, remote areas, postal strikes and/or unexpected weather conditions, etc. We appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter. Please contact us if you do not receive your order after the ETA period.

Order Cancellation

If you would like to cancel your order after it has been placed, please contact our Customer Service team within 1 hour. However, if the order is processing or has been dispatched, we regret that it cannot be changed or cancelled.

Occasionally (but very rarely), order(s) or parts of an order may need to be cancelled or put on hold for various reasons such as; invalid shipping address, payment verification issues, item(s) not available, etc. Our Customer Service team will contact you if your order has been put on hold.

Incorrect Address/Refused/Unclaimed/Undelivered and Returned Shipments

Please note that if your order is sent but then returned to us due to Incorrect Address/Refused/Unclaimed/Undelivered or Uncollected reasons, upon receipt we will deduct 20% of the total value as restocking & handling fee and refund the remaining amount. If you would like us to re-send your returned order again, a payment of 15% of the total value is required as re-shipping & handling fee. Please contact our Customer Service team to follow-up.

Postage Packaging

All makeup brushes are wrapped in plastic film, then bubble wrapped. Brush sets that come in the pouch/casing will be put into the pouch/casing, then bubble wrapped.  We use polymer mailing bags which are tear-proof and water-proof to mail your orders.

Colour Difference

There may be a slight variation/difference in colour between the item photo and the actual product you receive due to lighting, computer monitor display settings, etc. We will try our best to provide clear product description. However, we cannot accept cases or disputes for these reasons
