I came across this product while looking for something to help with my boyfriends skin on his arm that breaks out into red puffy splotches all the time. He's been to the dermatologist and was perscribed stuff and it didn't work very well. SOOOOOO after reading the great reviews this stuff got I figured it was worth a shot. I saw that there were a lot of reviews saying that it worked on acne as well (something I struggle with ALL THE STINKIN TIME) I've tried all sorts of stuff that didn't really work (untill I got the African black soap face wash which is amazing) but I still had some issues with break outs. I though I might as well give it a shot. Back to my boyfriend. His arms cleared up in about a week or so. I have NEVER seen his skin looking so clear! (He has very dry and fair skin if that helps for reference) I tried it on my face and BOOM almost flat skin!! I've found that it doesn't do a good job of actually cleaning out pores but it will help calm pimples down and acne but not help so much with black heads and evening out skin tone and what not. But this stuff is AMAZING.BONUS. I have pretty bad razor burn on my bikini line which is so frustrating and I've used stuff specifically for bikini line razor burn that did NOTHING. but then I decided if this works on acne might as well try on razor burn. And it works SO well!!! Now I don't have to feel self conscious whole on a swim suit! OVERALL REVIEW-------- It feels pretty dry when it goes on but once it is rinsed and some time has gone by my skin feels fine! Works very well and very efficiently. For the cost it is wonderful!FOR REFRENCE-------- My skin is combination but I would say mostly dry. Very prone to breakouts. I am age 18. I keep a pretty good skin care routiene. I use this in combination of african black soap problem prone skin face wash and african black soap problem prone skin face mask. (Both by shea moisture) My boyfriends skin is extremely dry even though he moisturizers all the time. Very prone to sun burn. This soap has worked wonders for me. It was like immediately upon using it I instantly felt relief and from that point on I started using it on my entire body.
