This is a 40 Pin Connector Cable Only for BMW 5 Series E39 2002-2003, BMW X5 E53 2002-2007, Range Rover 2002-2004, BMW 3 Series E46 2002-2006. For BMW M5 1996-2003, please check your power cable interface.
For cars with factory navigation or large screen in the dash, just connect loudspeakers directly under the boot(under the spare tire or on the left tire);
For cars with DSP or amplifier system like Harmon Kardon Bose(our unit can not support those amplifier, after installation, there will be no sound). But you can get the sound by manually modifying the speaker cable to connect car speaker, to bypass those amplifier. Modifying by professional is prefered if you dont know how to do.
This speaker cable is optional, if your car with navigation or large screen and has amplifier, then you need to buy this, otherwise no need.
