Each of our facilities has a dedicated ''Green'' team focused on identifying ways to become more environmentally sensitive, from installing solar panels at our headquarters to enforcing company-wide composting & recycling programs. We were thrilled when our three manufacturing facilities recently achieved ''zero waste to landfill'' status. We are also extremely proud of the fact that , in 2003, we purchased the Charleston Tea Plantation in Wadmalaw Island, South Carolina. We ere able to preserve 127 acres of beautiful tea bushes. The tea produced from these bushes is used exclusively for a special line of teas called American Classic Tea®. Today the farm is thriving and has over 60,000 visitors a year. 2 STEPS TO A GREAT CUP
Be sure to start with fresh cold water and bring to a rolling boil.
Pour over tea bag, steep for 3 minutes (or whatever time you like), remove bag (but no squeezing please!) For Iced Tea by the Glass: Steep a little longer. Pour over ice. CAFF-O-METER content per serving:
Coffee: 100-120 mg
Black tea: 30-60 mg
Green tea: 25-50 mg
Decaf tea: 1-8 mg
Herbal tea: 0 mgFree OfGluten, GMOs.
