When I first received it I was very excited as I have heard great reviews about NYC cosmetics and I was actually looking for a new Eyeliner. The first thing I noticed was how easy it is to use. The formula is very creamy and it doesn't tug or pull. It simply glides on with ease. I was able to take a small brush and brush it on the tip of the pencil to create my look and it was very easy to do. It's very blendable. I wear contacts and my eyes water all the time. I am sometimes left with a raccoon eye, so it being Waterproof is a MUST. I wore my make from about 6pm on the 31st of December to about 9pm on January 1st. So I wore it for about 27hrs and did not have to reapply. No tugging, no waxiness; just a super smooth formula and application. I would even go as far as to compare it to Urban Decay's 24/7 pencils which I adore, formula wise. However, as far as longevity goes I don't find it to be smudgeproof or extremely longwearing (like the 24 hours it claims). It is however slightly waterproof (more like water resistant? when I applied a swatch to the back of my hand it didn't wash off all the way under water), and it does last longer than expected (around 6-8 hours). I was sent this product to review, and I wasn't expecting much honestly, but was pleasantly surprised with the quality.
