麻辣鲜 was opened at East Coast Lagoon Food Village on 9th August 2017, Singapore’s National Day. Ma La Xian serves the most authentic Sichuan taste in Seafood Bucket to Singaporeans.
What is your name and age, are you a local?
My name is Mr Wong, 45 years old and I am from Sichuan, China.
What makes your business or dishes different from others?
The Ma La taste. The Ma La base was originated from my Sichuan master. It uses more than 30 ingredients and 6 hours to prepare. Ma La Xian combines the freshest seafood with the Ma La base to cook the best seafood bucket for Singaporeans.
Why is your shop named as "Ma La Xian”?
"Ma La” means "Numbing and spicy” and "Xian” means "fresh” and "seafood”.
When was it first established?
My first outlet was established on 9th August 2017, same day as Singapore’s National Day.
