The second time I used a plate I left it in the sink overnight after rinsing it with water. When I washed it in the morning, where the water sat in the edge and under the bowl that was on it, there is a darker section. I was hoping it would go away but now over 24 hours later it is still just as dark. I really love the dishes too and it's probably too late to return. Microwaved food in them with no issues. Ran through dishwasher several times with no issues. I even banged it against my granite counter top on accident twice and nothing happened to them. Love how sturdy and durable and gorgeous they are. The only complaint I have and the reason for the 4 stars is that I have to stack my bowls at an angle. If I stack straight up they get stuck in each other. Other than that they are perfect. It's so beautiful and seems to be holding up well I have a family of 6 and this goes in the dishwasher and I've had no problems so far. The only reason I gave the dishes 4 stars instead of 5 is because one set of the dishes had flaws and I had to return them. I wanted a nice set for everyday use. There are two of us in the household and we used these everyday for eight months. They look like they are 20 years old. Scratches black dots, very disappointed. I contacted Pioneer Woman and apparently their dinnerware is made by Gibson. They responded by email and asked me to take pictures and asked how many pieces were scratched. I sent the pictures and told them the entire set had scratches from silverware all over, even the bowls.. I was told they would send me service for 4 as a one time courtesy. I explained to them I purchased service for 12 and would like them replaced. Again I received an email saying they would send me a set of service for 4 as a courtesy and there was no warranty after 7 months of use. Basically to bad about the dishes, we don't care!
