Like this: 'Las 2... menos ...8'. For the quarter hours and half hour say: "Las dos y cuarto"; "Las dos y media"; "Las tres menos cuarto". Once your child is confident they can tell the time they will read the clock more often. Every time they read it， the information on the clock face gets committed to memory.
