My supply finally ran out & when I opened the one I bought at the local supermarket last week, the scent was different. It's still VAGUELY like the old scent, but there's sharp smell to it that hurts my nose like most perfumes do. I put it on, hoping that part of it would fade after a few minutes or that I'd adjust to it, but I can smell it on me & it's just awful. I have no complaints about the effectiveness of the product, so I recommend it for anyone who can tolerate the change in scent but, unfortunately, I can't. I'm willing to go elsewhere locally to see if I can find one that smells like the old scent, but if it turns out that I didn't just end up with one from a defective batch & they all smell like this awful thing I bought last week, I'll have to find some other product to use. I have been using it for 25+ years. I do not like the invisible solids at all, so I hope you never stop making this product. It is getting harder and harder to find it in any store. My daughter recently complained the invisible solids were making her armpits itchy. When I give her my Original Shower fresh Solid, she loved it! No itchy underarms! I used to use Secret when I was in middle school but switched over to Dove several years ago. I decided to try out secret again, specifically this deodorant in the shower fresh scent. The smell was decent, not anything spectacular. I wore this deodorant while I was taking my SAT test and I don't think I have ever sweat more than I did during that test, and it was cold in the room! I still stuck with this deodorant for a month or two but I continued to sweat heavily and I could smell my sweat. It sucked! I thought I had developed some heavy sweating issues until I switched back to Dove and realized it was just this deodorant. My dove deodorant works great compared to the Secret deodorant.
