Slice Of Nature tamanu oil is pure, unrefined and undiluted. It is therefore very potent, you will notice the thickness and strong nutty scent. It originates from the coastal regions of the Island of Madagascar where it is harvested by hand picking from the fruits/nut of the Calophyllum inophyllum tree. The fruits are then cold pressed. This oil is first press only and unadulterated. Tamanu growing close to ocean has better properties than inland. Tamanu oil from Madagascar is more favored than Polynesian tamanu for potency.
