• Thyme is one of the most popular herbs used to treat conditions of the respiratory tract in Western herbal medicine. It supports the immune system by helping to fight bacterial and viral infections due to its antibacterial and antiviral properties. It is effective at relieving wet and dry cough and has an expectorant action which enables mumous to be thinned so it can be coughed up more easily, helping clear the air passage of excess mucous. It is also effective for sore throats including tonsilitis.
• White Horehound is used in respiratory conditions for its expectorant and anti-spasmolytic actions, where it relieves spasms of the smooth muscle in the lung tissues. It is commonly taken for bronchitis (acute and chronic), the common cold and all respiratory conditions in particular those with a non-productive cough, and asthma. It is also useful for hoarseness
• Aniseed is ideal for coughs and bronchial inflammation. It has anti-tussive (anti-cough) and expectorant action, and also has a relaxing effect on the bronchi to help ease spasms in the chest. Aniseed has a pleasant flavour which contributes to the taste of this formula. Both Ginger and Aniseed have a warming effect on the body

Directions: 
Adults: Take 5ml to 10 ml (best taken immediately before meals). 
Children 5-12 years old: Give 2.5ml to 5ml 
Children 1-5 years old: Give 1ml to 2.5ml. Best taken in a 1/4 cup warm water (enhances the action) 1 - 3 times daily or as professionally advised

• New Zealand Manuka Honey, Vegetable Glycerol, Citric Acid and Water

Precautions: Not suitable for infants under the age of 12 months old (due to Manuka Honey content). Use with caution in cases of peptic ulcer and gastroesophageal reflux (due to Ginger content).
