The instructions were missing but made some up: Four buttons are present: RESET ST/STP MODE EL Normal Operation: Press MODE to cycle through: normal time display AL (alarm time) SP (stopwatch) T2 (a second time display set as you desire) In normal time display mode: The time and day of week and day of month are shown. Press and hold ST/STP to show full date as (2016-01-09). Press and release EL to light the display for about three seconds. Press RESET button and release quickly to switch back and forth between Military Time and 12/12 time display. Setting the Time: In normal time display mode, press and hold RESET until seconds flash (setting mode). Press MODE to move to hours, minutes, year, month, day in sequence. To change the value, press ST/STP and set the value. Press and release RESET quickly to return to normal time display mode. Setting the Alarm: Press MODE until reach AL display. Press and release RESET to enter the alarm set mode. Press ST/STP to set alarm values and MODE to cycle between hour and minute setting. Press and release RESET to leave the alarm set mode. Press ST/STP to turn on alarm, hourly chime, both alarm and hourly chime, none. Setting the second time display: Press MODE to reach T2 display. Press and release RESET to initiate setting T2 time. Press ST/STP to set values and MODE to cycle between hour and minute setting. Press and release RESET to leave the alarm set mode. SP Mode (stopwatch): Press MODE until display is SP.
