The free standing plastic/metal shoe rack holds 30 pair of shoes. The larger the shoe the less total pairs can be displayed. The 10 shelves are slanted for easier display and visibility of your shoes. To ensure stability of the unit, you may want to use a rubber mallet to help secure the aluminum poles properly into the plastic frame to ensure that all parts are secure, as the bars fit very snugly and may not be able to be fully inserted by hand, without the use of a rubber mallet or other tool that will not damage the rack.
