Flex is a patented formulation of methyl and isopropyl alcohol. Use of Flex results in complete dehydration and brilliant cytoplasmic staining. Moreover, it minimizes over-dehydration in smaller biopsies. This product is excellent for lipid extraction allowing for increased paraffin infiltration and may be used as a solvent for special stains.
