All one piece except the belt. I order a 8/10 for my 9 yr old, its tall enough to fit my 14 yr old. I didn't expect much from this thought it would be a fun dress up outfit for her, thank god I can sew so I will be able to fix it. Next time I will just make one from scratch which is what I well end up doing. I'm giving her this simply do she had a dress up outfit on Christmas to play with her sister.
