I have done it a few times but am usually disappointed with the results. Hair is still around my lip (or I rip off the tops of my lips) plus I have this HUGE red mustache for at least a day after. I have bought the honey waxing kits and bleaching kits to do myself but usually after a huge mess and half hour or more of effort, I am again let down. I read reviews of this product on Amazon and overall they were good. I went to Walmart and bought it. My 11 year old daughter is often made fun of for her stache as well so we gave it a try. After the initial minute of reading instructions (clear & simple and only 3 steps) we sat for 8 minutes to wait. Initially I used a cotton ball as recommended to wipe it away and I thought "darn it didn't work." I switched to a wash cloth and used slight pressure and voila! The hair wiped away. ALL of it! My daughter was thrilled with the ease of use and how painless it was. There is a slight tingling while waiting but if you have ever messed with hair removal is was nothing compared to the "tingling" other products talk about. I couldn't be happier and afterwards my lip was a little pink but there was no redness at all on my daughters. By the way, if you are shaking your finger at me for doing my daughter's lip, I am actually a very conservative mom in most ways, but I remember being made fun of severely for lip hair and don't see the need to make her go through it since I have found a non-painful and easy way (I had previously told her no to waxing and other things because it seemed excessive to let a 11 year old do that). By the way I have already called my sister and recommended it to her. Hope this helps! Was this review helpful?Yes (104)No (6)ReportCrushed hopes :-(10/13/2012Average rating:1out of5stars, based onreviews10/13/2012by Middleagedmom4I was really hoping after 25 years of tweezing and shaving that I found a product that would work on my coarse facial hair. This is not that product. I left it on for 10 minutes. It didn't get all the hairs and it did turn my skin red. It looked like I had just gotten a skin peel. It's also not something I could afford to pay $22.00 for every two days. Was this review helpful?Yes (35)No (3)ReportRead all reviews
