FAQ: 1. The SmartPro Active does not clean properly
Cause: The bristles of one or both side brushes are crooked or bent. Solution: Soak the brush or brushes in warm water for a while. If this does not restore the bristles to their proper shape, replace the side brushes.
Cause: The filter in the dust container is dirty. Solution: Clean the filter in the dust container with a cloth or a toothbrush with soft bristles. If brushing does not help to clean the filter, replace the filter with a new one. We advise you to replace the filter at least once a year.
Cause: The suction opening in the bottom of the dust container is clogged. Solution: Clean the suction opening.
Cause: The front wheel is jammed with hair or other dirt. Solution: Clean the front wheel.
2. The robot does not start cleaning when I press the on/off button The rechargeable battery is empty or the small plug is still inserted in the jack on the robot. 3. Robot will not return to base to charge. Returning to base is a feature for FC8810 and FC8820. Kindly take note that sometimes it won't return to charge, this won't happen often though. 4. The robot won't move when I press and on/off button Kindly check that the dry mop is properly attached before robot is turned on
