The first superfood ingredient is RAW CACAO powder, of the premium criollo cacao bean variety. This is raw cocoa powder at its purest, and most nutrient-dense state. It has lots of bliss nutrients (like PEA and anandamide), vitamins, minerals and super-high levels of heart-healthy flavonoids (that can be easily destroyed when processed into regular chocolate).

The second superfood ingredient is the popular QUINOA Seed (whole grain), popularly known as the Mother of All Grains. A high-protein, high-fiber whole grain that contains all 9 essential amino acids (including lysine), B vitamins, folate, calcium, magnesium, a diverse array of antioxidants and many more nutrients. The Quinoa powder used in this mix has the same nutritional profile as the Quinoa seeds, and is more easily digested by the human body than cooked Quinoa seed or Quinoa flour. 

The third superfood ingredient is the PURPLE CORN (whole grain), which is not your regular white/yellow corn! Grown in the Andes mountains of Peru, the Purple Corn with its beautifully deep purple kernels (purple foods are good for you!), is one of nature’s richest sources of anthocyanin antioxidants that help protect the heart, promote blood circulation, normalize high blood pressure, and improve cholesterol levels and diabetic conditions (by enhancing glucose metabolism). Purple Corn has higher antioxidant capacity than blueberries and other corn varieties, making it an exciting new superfood of our time. Purple Corn also has higher protein and fiber content than white or yellow corn.

Then comes the MESQUITE flour made from the pods of the Mesquite tree. Mesquite is highly effective in balancing blood sugar and for bone health. It is a highly nutritious (high in complete protein, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, sulfur, dietary fiber), versatile flour that imparts a slightly sweet and smoky taste on foods while enhancing the flavors of vanilla, cinnamon, chocolate, and coffee.
