With the GARDENA Rain Sensor electronic， natural rainfall is considered with the automatic irrigation. Irrigation is not started if it is raining， or it stops if rain begins during irrigation. The optical-electronic operation principle allows a fast reaction to the start of rainfall - this saves tap- or cistern water. The Rain Sensor can be stuck with the spike into the bed beside the plants， or placed on a solid surface. The GARDENA Rain Sensor electronic is supplied with a 5 m connecting cable and plug. For operation， one 9 V alkaline battery is required (not included). This ensures reliable measurement results for approx. one year. After-sales service provided.
