The Real Food Trading Company™ Organic Coconut and cold-pressed Sesame Oil Blend contains healthy fatty acids. Each serving of Coconut and Sesame oil Blend contains linoleic, oleic, lauric, myristic and palmitic acids. Both oils have a high flash point which gives an advantage in cooking and frying. The coconut and oil blend is unrefined, unbleached, non-deodorized, non-hydrogenated and processed without solvents. Benefits of Coconut Oil: Coconut oil is nature''s richest source of healthy medium-chain triglcyerides (MCTs), which the body uses for energy in a process called thermogenesis. Coconut oil is naturally trans-fatty acid free and is thought to be nature''s most plentiful source of lauric acid outside of mother''s milk, typically containing around 50%. Lauric Acid has been studied for its role in metabolism, thyroid function and immune function. Benefits of Sesame Seed Oil: Sesame Oil is rich in mono- and polyunsaturated acids (PUFAs) and low in saturated fats. It contains the antioxidants sesamol and sesamin, vitamin E, and also contains lignans.

Suggested Use:May be used straight, in cooking, baking, frying, or as a spread. Excellent for cooking and frying as it has a smoke point of approximately 350° F (165° C).
