We used cedar and copper for this do-it-yourself birdhouse and feeder project. As they age, the wood will turn a soft silver color and the copper roofs will acquire a handsome green patina. The project calls for just 22 mostly traceable pieces total, and both are easy enough for beginners. Use cedar fencing for great results.
