995 debuted in 1986 as the successor to M990 which became a hot topic due to the advertisement of New Balance himself at 990 points out of 1000 points. The shock absorbing and stability which evolved from the previous work M990 after four years and passed, the running shoes of the age was a popularity in a blink of an eye. However, M995 was not only used as a mere running shoe, but also sophisticated design was loved as being recognized as a symbol of status centering on executives.

Thirty years passed, M995 which was a long-awaited reprint in Made in USA in 2016, directed the desert area in the southwestern part of the United States, directed by the sun that strikes the desert and the color inspired from the night view Desert Heat Collection appeared.
