I am a racial mix of Irish, Portuguese, Bavarian and Native American. In winter I appear light skinned; in warm weather, I become much darker skinned. So I am a bit of a kaleidoscope? Whatever the case may be, I absolutely love this formulation by Palmer's. It's a classic -- one of the best values for the money and my skin LOVES it! The scent is just fabulous -- truly cocoa! And this melts into my skin very quickly, so it is not one of those emollients that seem to take an eternity to absorb. If you tend to burn at first, you might want to use an non-greasy sunscreen before applying Cocoa Butter until your skin has adapted to the "hat, sunglasses and lip gloss" stage. People with fair skin should probably never wear this product without layering with sun screen. As for me, when hot weather kicks in, I use this every day on my face, neck and arms (at the very least) and my skin is smooth and supple. People fully a decade younger look at their skin in despair and then grab hold of mine and ask me how I manage to not have wrinkled, flabby skin on my arms at my age. I tell them "the secret" and they're amazed! A little of this product goes a long way, so you'll be happy you made the investment. Another plus: if you love scents like amber, vanilla, Obsession, Cartier Must (the original product) and/or good Sandalwood oil, you'll just love the way those fragrances blend with this Cocoa Butter.
