They have a seamless upper that flexes with your foot and Geofit padding for a comfortable fit. Seamless Forgedmesh Upper The upper of the Barricade 2018 is constructed from a seamless forgedmesh that is designed with areas of superb support and stretch to help ensure a custom fit that adapts to every move. The mesh allows air to fully permeate the upper providing a constant supply of fresh, cool air whilst simultaneously pushing out hot, muggy air that accumulates during heavy exertion. In addition, an abrasion-resistant Adituff wraps around the toe and medial forefoot to help protect against foot drag that occurs during serves, volleys and extreme lateral movements. A soft and stretchable tongue offers a comfortable fit, whilst a bootee construction provides a snug fit. The upper continues its excellence through a geofit construction that allows an anatomical fit for added comfort, working in tandem with the ghillie at the top of the laces to deliver a locked-down fit. Adiprene Midsole The midsole construction boasts Adiprene in the heel and Adiprene in the forefoot. The Adiprene in the heel offers superior cushioning at impact. During the impact phase of the gait cycle, the Adiprene helps to absorb the shock and impact forces where it harnesses the energy created. From this position the midsole unit transfers the energy to forefoot area where it is then taken on by the Adiprene to provide an enhanced energy return, pushing you off into your next step. The Adiprene in the forefoot maintains propulsion and efficiency allowing you to be better on the court.
