I wore them this winter (in WV) and they keep your feet nice and warm & dry. I've even used them to go into my muddy garden and they wipe right off. You absolutely cannot beat the price. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the inside is insulated and the product is actually rated for use to -20F. They are about mid-calf height and I do have wider calves and these fit fine.
