Instructions: Baking Instructions: What You Will Need: For 1 pouch Brownie Mix, you will need 2 large eggs, 1/4 cup water, and 1/2 cup vegetable oil. For 2 pouches Brownie Mix, you will need 4 large eggs, 1/2 cup water, and 1 cup vegetable oil. For 3 pouches Brownie Mix, you will need 6 large eggs, 3/4 cup water, and 1-1/2 cups vegetable oil. For 4 pouches Brownie Mix, you will need 8 large eggs, 1 cup water, and 2 cups vegetable oil. 1. Preheat oven to 350F for glass or metal pans, 325F for dark or non-stick pans. Grease bottom of pan with shortening or cooking spray. 2. Empty brownie mix, eggs, oil and water in a large bowl. Stir until well blended (about 50 strokes). Spread in greased pan and bake immediately. 3. Bake following times below. For 1 pouch Mix, bake 27-30 min. for a 13" x 9" pan, 34-37 min. for a 9" x 9" pan, or 42-45 min. 42-45 min. for an 8" x 8" pan. For 2 pouches Mix, see Deep Dish recipe. For 3 pouches Mix, bake 34-37 min. for a 9" x 9" pan or 42-45 min. for an 8" x 8" pan. For 4 pouches Mix, bake 31-34 min. for a 15-1/2" x 10-1/2" pan. Add 3-5 minutes for dark or non-stick pans. Brownies are done when toothpick inserted 1 inch from the edge of pan comes out clean. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. If you bake with 2 or 3 pans, place one pan on top rack and the second (and third) on middle rack. Bake for 15 minutes. Switch and rotate pans from one rack to the other. Continue baking for the remaining period of time recommended above. Deep Dish Recipe: You will need 2 pouches of dry mix, 3 eggs, 3/4 cup water and 1/2 cup oil. Preheat oven to 325F. Grease bottom only of a metal 13" x 9" pan, glass pan is not recommended for this recipe. Make batter as directed above. Bake in center of preheated oven for 53-56 minutes. Cool completely before cutting. Lower Fat Recipe: Prepare and bake brownies following directions above except using 1 large egg, 2 tablespoons water, and 1/3 cup unsweetened applesauce per pouch of mix. Reduce baking time 1-2 minutes. High Altitude (over 3,500 ft.): Per pouch of mix. Stir 3 tablespoons flour into brownie mix. Mix and prepare according to above directions except use 1 large egg, 1/3 cup water, and 1/4 cup vegetable oil.
