For easy installing the hard drive.

(1) Eject the top cover by pushing the latch

at the side of the player as indicated by the arrow direction, the cover will
pop open.(2) Raise the cover until it is in vertical position, position your

hard drive correctly in the bay,(3) then slide in until it is secured with the

SATA connector.(4) When this is done you can now gently close the cover.
