Vitacost® Delicate Rose Organic White Tea was thoughtfully sourced by our tea curator from secluded, pristine gardens in China that dry the Camellia sinensis leaves on site for optimal quality. Unlike black or green tea, this variety is made from leaves that have yet to fully open. Once harvested, Vitacost® Delicate Rose is handled in small-batch blending to maintain its integrity from crop to cup. With a human touch at every stage of the process, there’s a tasteful difference that feels just right. And because the best can always be better, all of our Vitacost teas are USDA Certified Organic.
Brewed to a tea
Ever wrapped a tea bag string around your spoon to squeeze out every last drop? Never again. Vitacost’s pyramid-shaped sachets are at the tip of tea technology. This structure allows the tea’s leaves to float freely, so they can infuse their full flavor potential when immersed in hot water. There’s also less breakage, which means you don’t have to drink dust at the bottom of your cup.
Big deal, right? Well, they kind of are. These pyramid sachets are made from Soilon, a fine mesh that’s biodegradable and fully compostable. They’ve been heat-sealed instead of stapled or chemically sealed like traditional tea bags. Heat 8 ounces water to 205°F (96°C)
