I reapply once a week or so. I recommend using a mitt or plastic gloves so you don't mess up the tan on your hands by washing them. This gives me the same color tan that I would get if I tanned in the sun. Love the very light tropical citrusy scent, without any artificial fragrance. Make sure you exfoliate first. I've been using it all summer and I LOVE it.
