These are the supplements that I have been taking daily. One thing that I dislike about DHC’s capsuled supplements is that it contains gelatin (derived from pig’s skin). I am someone who does not eat pork (I’m not a Muslim, just that I only eat chicken & fish).
DHC’s supplements comes in either 20, 30, 60 or 90 days. The package is ziploc type hence it helps to keep the supplements fresh to a certain extend.
I bought mine directly from Rakuten Japan. It’s so much cheaper as compared to getting it at Watsons and they have soooo many different types of supplements. The expiry date is also very long (at least 2 years & above). The last batch that I bought in 2013, the expiry date is in 2016.
DHC advises its consumers to take the supplement twice a day (Day & Night). For myself, I will always take half of the stated dosage at night (an hour before bedtime) as the skin starts to renew itself during our sleep. During the day time, I’ll take the supplements after I had my meal as the body absorbs vitamin C better after some food intake.
I would say that the supplements do help in making my skin condition better. I can see that there is less breakouts and is much smoother. There isn’t much effect to shrinking of pores or lightening of pigmentation. Overall I would say it’s good for maintenance if you want to keep your skin stay young.
Basically, I take about 16 tablets/capsules of each 5 different DHC supplements in a day to fill daily nutrient requirements for my health.
