Different speed values on the two sides of the blade using a unique wood composition. Low rebound coefficient on one side to slow the ball, allowing return short over the net with a maximum spin reversal on block with long pips. Even float balls can be attacked with long pips through aggressive pushing and counter-attacking. The other side of the blade is faster for forceful attack by use of offensive rubbers.
