The IR808HS is a high-resolution, premium CMOS camera with 520 TV lines of resolution. 2012 model built in with dual-filter day & night auto switching, the camera will switch to black and white on low light to enhance sensitivity. With heat dissipating, weatherproof metal housings, it's perfect for both indoor and out door installations.

Notes: Near-infrared light, is beyond what the human eye can see, but most camera sensors can detect it, color camera in daylight without an IR-cut filter will therefore see a significant amount of infrared light resulting in strange colors. With a Mechanical IR-Cut filter switch, during the day this camera uses an IR-cut filter. IR light is filtered out so that it does not distort the colors of images as the human eye sees them. When the camera is in night (black and white) mode, built in IR illuminator active, the IR-cut filter is removed, allowing the camera detect infrared light reflect from the object.
