It's really on me, because I didn't look closely. I just ordered them on line so I could have them for an upcoming trip for which I needed more packing cubes. I picked them up at the store and was surprised to see what they actually were. They are still nice little lightweight bags, but they are not packing cubes in the true sense. You cannot open them fully to pack nicely. You can shove things in like socks, underwear, rolled up ties, bathing suits, perhaps gym clothes. But you cannot arrange rolled or flat items as well as you could if you were able to fully unzip. Look closely at the picture. The zipper is only at the top of each sack. I did love the smallest one for a little poolside case for my phone, kleenex, room key, chapstick, etc. So not a terrible purchase, just not what I was expecting. The fabric is so thin I don't think it will hold up to much more than socks/underwear. You can find similar sets of 6 on eBay ( if you want to wait for international shipping ) that are much cheaper...I'm only keeping them because of the color ( matches my tent :) ) and didn't want to wait on eBay...Guess I'll be using them for socks/underwear.
