But when plugged in, I was more than a little disappointed with it's performance. Firstly, there are controls found on most other players, that sadly are missing on this one. There is NO balance control on the unit. So, what can you do to correct an unbalanced channel situation? Nothing!A Random playback feature. Many of the cheapest players I've seen have a random playback feature. You don't always have to listen to the songs or tunes in the same order as they are found on the CD. Not Here! After playing the last tune on the disk, the player does Not shut off. I like to fall asleep to Bach or Beethoven. but if I try it with this unit, I might wake up six hours later, and the player is Still on!The quality of the playback really leaves something to be desired. There are a lot of "drop outs" where the music might be nonexistent for five or more seconds.
