This particular model is made by Flanger, and in our testing has proven to be a great little tuner for a wide range of stringed instruments, from guitar and basses to mandolins, ukeleles, banjos, violins, dulcimers, cigar box guitars and more! This tuner has five tuning modes: "C" mode is full chromatic; "G" is standard 6-string guitar mode, which will tell you both the string number and the note; "B" is bass guitar mode, which will show you the string and note for the 4 strings of a standard electric bass; "V" is violin mode, which shows preset G D A E notes that correspond to violin and mandolin strings; and finally "U" is concert ukulele tuning, G C E A. The "A4" range is adjustable from 430 to 450Hz, and the tolerance is +/- 3 cents. This tuner is powered by an included CR2032 button battery, and comes packages in a box (pictured) that includes a small usage manual. This is heck of a lot of digital tuner at an amazing price!
