About KAPOK
Founded in the late 1950s,Kapok Musical Instrument is a well established and famous enterprise in China.
On Jan,24th ,the first guitar of kapok came out.
In 1980,The Violin of Kapok which made by Chen Jinnong who is the violin master won the gold medal in quality in the United States 4th International Violin Production Competition in New York City .
In 1982,the violin of Kapok which is made by XuFu who is the violin master won the Excellent double award for tone and craft in The United States 5th International Violin Production Competition
In 1983,the violin of kapok which made by Chen Jinnong who is the violin master in the 1st German ''Luis - Spohr'' international violin production competition in the sound quality award.
The next several years, Kapok suffered a heavy loss, even there occurred a rumor that Kapok had gone out of business.
On August 17th,1999, Kapok was acquired by the Zhujiang Piano. During the period of reformation, for the shortcoming of the Neck of guitar which is very easy to lose shape, Kapok improved its equipment and technology.
