Wash cast iron skillet 10.5 inch by hand with mild soap or none at all. Dry cast iron pan promptly and thoroughly with a lint-free cloth or paper towel. Rub with a very light layer of vegetable oil, preferably while the skillet pan is still warm. Hang or store cast iron cookie skillet in a dry place. Hand wash only, not dishwasher safe.
