It is a bit rough on your skin for the first 5 or 6 washes but as you break it in, it is very soft and is awesome at buffing your skin. My skin feels baby soft and silky. I replace these every 2-3 months like other baby poofs. Don't be discouraged if it's a little rough at first! If you work construction, work outdoors, or do anything that gets you extra dirty, on the daily, this is the washcloth for you!! This washcloth exfoliates very well! I'm very pleased with the results! I love that fresh clean feeling after a shower, and not have that awful dead skin still coming off, after. the shower.
